Angele & Joey
Angele and Joey, founders of Studio Lucid Club, first crossed paths at Singapore Management University, where they served together on the executive committee of a dance club. It was there, while helming their first dance production, that they discovered a shared passion for storytelling through dance —an approach they would later define as dance theatre.
Over the past decade, they have led countless creative projects and collaborated with a wide range of dance genres, shaping works that are both expressive and immersive. As dancers themselves, they bring a deep understanding of how movement should be seen and felt, grounding their creations in both technique and emotion.
At the heart of their work is a love for nurturing young dancers—guiding them not just in movement, but in finding their own voice through dance.
